What is EPSDT/PCS and LT-PCS?
Early & Periodic Screening Diagnosis & Treatment (EPSDT), Personal Care & Services (PCS), Long Term Personal Care Services (LT-PCS)
EPSDT/PCS
Services that are defined as tasks that are medically necessary as they pertain to an EPSDT eligible physical requriements when physical limitations due to illness or injury necessitate assistance with eating, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, bladder or bowel requirements.
LT-PCS
Services that provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADL) and instrumental activities of daily living (IDAL). They may be either the actual performance of the personal care task for the individual or supervision and promotion of the individual to perform the task by him/herself.
Children's Choice
A program designed to help families provide in-home care and support for their children with developmental disabilities. Children’s choice assists by providing funding with medical care, home modifications, care giving assistance and support in other specialty services. Children’s Choice gives families a choice in when services are needed.
Elderly/Disabled Waiver Services
A service that allows individuals to live in the community instead of a Nursing Home or Institution. The ages serviced are 65 or older, and 21 years or older who are disabled according to Medicaid standards. The goal of FRU, Inc is to promote a health living environment for all recipients.
SIL (Supervised Independent Living)
FRU provides SIL placements to any beneficiary of waver services who may be in cluster housing, apartment, a rented house, or in the client’s own home. At FRU, the supervised independent cosumer will receive assistance livng as independently as possible in the community.
New Opportunities Waiver (NOW)
Designed to provide community and home based services to individual. The mission is to promote dignity, quality of life and security in people’s everyday life. FRU, Inc will strive for greatness in every aspect with an individual with a disability.
Companion care provides assistance to seniors, children and adults with physical or mental disabilities need to live safely and comfortably at home.
Memory care is a specialized type of care for people with Alzheimer’s and other types of dementia.

Our caregivers cannot administer medications but they can help someone who is responsible for taking their own medication.
